For the the television show JAG. Look at the sneaky way I figured out how to sculpt multiple tiles. I used a sheet of masonite as a frisket and sand blasted the foam saving time and my back. Circa: 1996
2 lb Foam panels sculpted to look like ancient stone carvings.
For the the television show JAG. Brian Cole of Brizzi Cole Studios sculpted the centre section and I think the bottom tiles as well.
Circa: 1996
When I first got into the business of large sculpts, Brian Cole was my mentor and employer for almost two years. I learned a lot from him and his wonderful wife, Lauren Marems, the sculptor who actually sculpted E.T. for Steven Speilberg's most famous movie. Although she never really got the credit due her for that wonderful little Extra Terrestrial.
Building a Jumbo Jet nose for the MTV Movie Awards for Mike Meyers to jump out of as the intro to the awards show. Circa: 1997
Sculpted at Culver Studios.
Filmed in an aircraft hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, Santa Monica, California.
The aircraft nose was finished in fiberglass and supported by a steel tube framework. Of course, Mr. Meyers did not actually jump from the prop as it is about a ten foot fall. But the stunt looked great all the same.
A bra I made for Paris Hilton's, The Real Life. The bra actually needed to work. So I Built in two half pint baby bottles. One was to be filled with (faux) wine for a man to suckle on and the other was to be filled with milk or formula for an actual baby. The gag I believe was to see if a man and a baby could feed at the same time. Need I say more? Circa: 2007
Cattle prod heads for an unkknown T.V. show. That is: Many shows I work on I do not actually know which ones they are as I am working on so many projects in such a short amount of time. Circa: 2007
Meatballs for some T.V. show. Circa: 2007
Submarine for a Pine Sol Commercial. Shot in Mexico. Circa: 2007
