Koalas are also becoming more threatened each year as their habitat becomes more and more devided by roads and freeways in Australia. They are competing for the same habitat as humans as only about 10% of the Australian land mass is forested. Australia has suffered a massive drought for more than ten years! Many forest and brush fires have destroyed much of the once lush exterior parts of this beautiful and unique landscape.
